All-Candidates Events | Blue Mountains Public Library Meet the Candidates Series

The Blue Mountains Public Library Meet the Candidates Series begins tonight, giving residents an opportunity to hear directly from candidates running in the 2026 municipal election.

Presented by the Blue Mountains Public Library, with support from the Blue Mountain Ratepayers’ Association and Climate Action Now Network, the series creates an accessible opportunity for residents to meet candidates, ask questions, and learn more about the people putting their names forward to serve our community.

Throughout September and October, candidates will participate in individual sessions at the L.E. Shore Library in Thornbury.

I encourage residents to take part in the series — attend a session, ask questions, and get to know your candidates ahead of this fall’s municipal election.

Join Me on September 22

My Meet the Candidates session will take place:

Tuesday, September 22, 2026
6:00–7:00 p.m.
The Gallery at L.E. Shore Library, Thornbury

Gail Ardiel, candidate for Deputy Mayor, will speak immediately beforehand from 5:00–6:00 p.m.

I’m looking forward to sharing more about why I’m running for Council, what I’ve been hearing from residents across The Blue Mountains, and answering your questions.

Registration is required to attend, and space is limited.
